CUMMING, Ga. — Solarize Forsyth, a new local renewable energy coalition, is publicly launching a campaign aimed at making solar energy more affordable for local homeowners, businesses and nonprofits.

By buying solar and battery storage along with others in the community, you’ll tap the combined purchasing power of other Forsyth residents as well as take advantage of a federal tax credit further lowering the cost of your system’s purchase.

A special local launch event will take place at United Way - Forsyth County on Thursday, July 14th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at 240 Elm St. in Cumming.
